When we went to the Ganges it was super foggy (as was the rest of northern India when we were there because of the coldness) but it made some amazing desolate photos:

Agra Fort -- Lal Qila
Agra fort is a huge Mughal fort in, you guessed it, Agra! Though various Mughals lived here throughout the years, Shah Jahan spent the most time here after he was imprisoned by his son, Aurangzeb. The layout of the buildings is very interesting and untraditional, but the architecture and carvings are unreal.
Just after the entranceway:

Fake jalis - almost as good as the real thing.

A couple hundred foot drop from the balcony
This used to be completely painted -- you can see traces of it on the second photo below. The carving is beautiful!
